Rosebay Seawall

Funded by Woollahra Municipal Council, this seawall was constructed in five stages over the course of three years.

Contrate consisted of the demolition and renewal of the entire existing seawall along the water’s edge at Lyne Park in Rose Bay. The Seawall was constructed with 300 x 300 x 800mm sandstone blocks tied into a mass concrete backing slab with stainless steel ties and 400mm diameter basalt rock amour. Due to wave and tidal action, a coffer dam and sheet piles were required to complete the works. The contract also included Civil works i.e concrete path works and landscaping.
