While restoring the front façade and existing front rooms of the property, the rear of the property was demolished, rocks excavated and underpinned to construct a modern rear two-storey attachment. The rear featured open plan living, a new bathroom and bedrooms, custom joinery throughout, polished concrete floors and external timber batten cladding.
Clear communication between the architect, the clients and company regarding the bathroom set-out and design intent was a contributing factor to the clients’ happiness.
